Accepting Jesus Christ

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me;
and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved me and gave Himself for me.

(20) PSALM 23
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

(23) PSALM 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust."
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you;
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall tremple underfoot.
14 "Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation."
(24) MATTHEW 25:13
Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
(25) MATTHEW 25:40

did it to me.
(26) MATTHEW 28:19-20
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always,
even to the end of the age. Amen

requests be made known to God...

3 You shall have no other gods before Me...
4 You shall not make for yourself a carved image... 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them...

8 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy...
12 Honor your father and your mother...
13 You shall not murder.
14 You shall not commit adultery.
15 You shall not steal.
16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
17 You shall not covet your neighbor's house... nor anything that is your neighbor's.
(32) MATTHEW 22:36-40
36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
37 Jesus said to him, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul,
and with all your mind."
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like it: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
(33) MATTHEW 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
(34) MATTHEW 6:34

the day is its own trouble.

20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God'

out laborers into His harvest."
(46) ROMANS 12:21

not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the
way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat.

(58) EPHESIANS 6:14-18
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked one.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all
perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
(59) EPHESIANS 4:32
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
(60) EPHESIANS 5:22-24
22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the Church; and He is the Savior of the body.
24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
(61) EPHESIANS 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.
(62) EPHESIANS 5:28

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
(69) 1 CORINTHIANS 15:3-4
3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to

4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
(70) REVELATION 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him
and dine with him, and he with Me.
(71) MATTHEW 5:44-45
44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray
for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,
45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and
sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
(72) MATTHEW 5:28
But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
(80) GALATIANS 2:20

lampstand, that those who enter may see the light."
(95) LUKE 6:29-31
29 To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your
cloak, do not withhold your tunic either.
30 Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.
31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
(96) MARK 10:14-15

does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
(104) 2 CORINTHIANS 12:10
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for
Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until
the day of Jesus Christ.
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
(124) JOHN 1:10-12
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

(134) 1 CORINTHIANS 6:19-20
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endure all things.
8 Love never fails...
(137) 1 CORINTHIANS 11:28-29

(153) MATTHEW 5:13-14
13 You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

(174) PSALM 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;
24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
(175) PROVERBS 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight...
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven...

(180) ISAIAH 40:8
The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.
(181) ISAIAH 40:30-31
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagle, They shall
run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
(182) ISAIAH 41:10

your thoughts.

our God.
(187) JEREMIAH 17:7-8

heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding
(188) JEREMIAH 33:3
Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
(189) LAMENTATIONS 3:22-24
22 Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
24 "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!"
(190) EZEKIEL 11:19-20
19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their
flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and
I will be their God.
(191) DANIEL 6:16
...Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.
(192) DANIEL 11:32
...but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
(193) HOSEA 13:14
I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues!
O Grave, I will be your destruction! Pity is hidden from My eyes.
(194) HOSEA 14:9
Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the LORD are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them.

(198) MALACHI 3:6
For I am the LORD, I do not change...
(199) 1 JOHN 1:8-9
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(200) 1 JOHN 2:6
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
(201) MATTHEW 6:19-20
19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break and steal;
20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
(202) MATTHEW 6:27
Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
(203) 1 JOHN 4:15
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
(204) 1 JOHN 5:5
Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
(205) 3 JOHN 11
Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good.
(206) REVELATION 5:12
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!
(207) REVELATION 21:4
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.
(208) REVELATION 21:6-8
6 ...It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
(209) REVELATION 22:7
Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.
(210) MATTHEW 19:6
So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.
(211) REVELATION 22:20
...Surely I am coming quickly!
(212) MARK 9:23
...If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.
(213) MARK 16:15-16
15 ...Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
(214) LUKE 4:8
...You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.
(215) LUKE 6:37-38
37 Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38 Give, and it will be given to you...
(216) MATTHEW 5:37
But let your "Yes" be "Yes," and your "No," "No."
(217) MATTHEW 6:1
Take heed that you do not do your charitable deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father in heaven.
(218) MATTHEW 16:26
For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
(219) MATTHEW 6:25-26
25 Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will
put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you
not of more value than they?
(220) MATTHEW 5:11-12
11 Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
(221) MATTHEW 1:17
So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, from David until the captivity in Babylon are fourteen
generations, and from the captivity in Babylon until the Christ are fourteen generations.
(222) MATTHEW 1:20-21
20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of
David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."
(223) MATTHEW 3:11
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy
to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
(224) MATTHEW 3:16-17
16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He
saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
(225) MATTHEW 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
(226) MATTHEW 5:17
Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
(227) MATTHEW 7:1
Judge not, that you be not judged.
(228) MATTHEW 9:13
...For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
(229) MATTHEW 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body
in hell.
(230) MATTHEW 10:37-38
37 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not
worthy of Me.
38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
(231) MATTHEW 11:27
All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the
Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
(232) MATTHEW 11:30
For my yoke is easy and My burden is light.
(233) MATTHEW 12:30
He who is not with Me is against Me...
(234) MATTHEW 12:31-32
31 Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be
forgiven men.
32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it
will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
(235) MATTHEW 12:34
...For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
(236) MATTHEW 12:36-37
36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
(237) MATTHEW 12:50
For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.
(238) MATTHEW 12:25
...Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.
(239) MATTHEW 13:31-32
31 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The Kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed
in his field,
32 which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the
birds of the air come and nest in its branches.
(240) MATTHEW 15:11
Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.
(241) MATTHEW 15:14
...And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.
(242) MATTHEW 15:18-19
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
(243) MATTHEW 16:13-19
13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, "Who do men say that I, the
Son of Man, am?"
14 So they said, "Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and other Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"
16 Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
17 Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you,
but My Father who is in heaven.
18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail
against it.
19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and
whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
(244) MATTHEW 16:27
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.
(245) MATTHEW 18:8-9
8 If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed,
rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire.
9 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than
having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.
(246) MATTHEW 18:10-11
10 Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face
of My Father who is in heaven.
11 For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.
(247) MATTHEW 18:21-22
21 Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?"
22 Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."
(248) MATTHEW 19:29-30
29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name's sake,
shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.
30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.
(249) MATTHEW 20:16
So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.
(250) MATTHEW 20:28
just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
(251) MATTHEW 23:11-12
11 But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
(252) MATTHEW 24:44
Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
(253) MATTHEW 25:21
His lord said to him, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many
things. Enter into the joy of your lord."
(254) MATTHEW 25:29
For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has
will be taken away.
(255) MATTHEW 25:34-36
34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, "Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you
from the foundation of the world:
35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me."
(256) MARK 1:7-8
7 And he preached, saying, "There comes One after me who is mightier than I, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop
down and loose.
8 I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."
(257) MARK 1:14-15
14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."
(258) MARK 1:22
And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
(259) MARK 2:9-12
9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, "Your sins are forgiven you," or to say, "Arise, take up your bed and walk"?
10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins" - He said to the paralytic,
11 "I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."
12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God,
saying, "We never saw anything like this!"
(260) MARK 2:17
"Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to
(261) MARK 2:27-28
27 ..."The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
28 Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath."
(262) MARK 3:13-19
13 And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him.
14 Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,
15 and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:
16 Simon, to whom He gave the name Peter;
17 James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James, to whom He gave the name Boanerges, that is, "Sons of Thunder";
18 Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Cananite;
19 and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.
(263) MARK 3:25
And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
(264) MARK 3:28-29
28 "Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter;
29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation"
(265) MARK 3:35
For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.
(266) MARK 4:35-41
35 On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side."
36 Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him.
37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling.
38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?"
39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
40 But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?"
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, "Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"
(267) MARK 6:56
Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the market-places, and begged Him that they might
just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well.
(268) MARK 7:15
There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the
things that defile a man.
(269) MARK 8:17-21
17 ...Do you not yet perceive nor understand? Is your heart still hardened?
18 Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?
19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up? They said to Him,
20 "Also, when I broke the seven for the four thousand, how many large baskets full of fragments did you take up?" And they
said, "Seven."
21 So He said to them, "How is it you do not understand?"
(270) MARK 8:36
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
(271) MARK 10:24
..."Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!"
(272) MARK 9:37
"Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him
who sent Me."
(273) MARK 9:40
For he who is not against us is on our side.
(274) MARK 9:42
"But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung
around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea."
(275) MARK 10:23
Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!"
(276) MARK 10:27
But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."
(277) MARK 10:29-31
29 So Jesus answered and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or
mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel's,
30 who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time - houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands,
with persecutions - and in the age to come, eternal life.
31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first."
(278) MARK 10:45
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
(279) MARK 11:22-24
22 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God.
23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his
heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
(280) MARK 12:17
And Jesus answered and said to them, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
(281) MARK 12:25
For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
(282) MARK 12:41-44
41 Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much.
42 Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans.
43 So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all
those who have given to the treasury;
44 for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood."
(283) MARK 14:36
And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what
You will."
(284) MARK 14:38
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
(285) MARK 14:61-62
61 ...Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, "Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?"
62 Jesus said, "I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven."
(286) MARK 16:6
But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place
where they laid Him."
(287) LUKE 1:37
For with God nothing will be impossible.
(288) MARK 16:16
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
(289) LUKE 1:30-33
30 Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.
32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.
33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end."
(290) LUKE 2:11
For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
(291) LUKE 3:16
John answered, saying to all, "I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not
worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire."
(292) LUKE 3:21-22
21 When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened.
22 And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, "You are My
beloved Son; in You I am well pleased."
(293) LUKE 5:31-32
31 Jesus answered and said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."
(294) LUKE 6:20-23
20 Then He lifted up His eyes toward His disciples, and said:
"Blessed are you poor,
For yours is the kingdom of God."
21 Blessed are you who hunger now,
For you shall be filled.
Blessed are you who weep now,
For you shall laugh.
22 Blessed are you when men hate you,
And when they exclude you,
And revile you, and cast out your name as evil,
For the Son of Man's sake.
23 Rejoice in that day and leap for joy!
For indeed your reward is great in heaven,
For in like manner their fathers did to the prophets."
(295) LUKE 6:24-26
24 "But woe to you who are rich,
For you have received your consolation.
25 Woe to you who are full,
For you shall hunger.
Woe to you who laugh now,
For you shall mourn and weep.
26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you,
For so did their fathers to the false prophets."
(296) LUKE 6:32-36
32 "But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners
to receive as much back.
35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons
of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.
36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful."
(297) LUKE 6:43
For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.
(298) LUKE 6:45
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings
forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
(299) LUKE 6:46-49
46 "But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do the things which I say?
47 Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:
48 He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream
beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.
49 But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the
stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great."
(300) LUKE 7:22-23
22 Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk,
the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them.
23 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me."
(301) LUKE 7:28
For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the
kingdom of God is greater than he.
(302) LUKE 7:47
Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same
loves little.
(303) LUKE 8:11-15
11 "Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
12 Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they
should believe and be saved.
13 But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe
for a while and in time of temptation fall away.
14 Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches,
and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.
15 But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and
bear fruit with patience.
(304) LUKE 8:17
For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.
(305) LUKE 8:18
Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he
seems to have will be taken from him.
(306) LUKE 8:21
..."My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it."
(307) LUKE 8:22-25
22 Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, "Let us cross over to the
other side of the lake." And they launched out.
23 But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in
24 And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we are perishing!" Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the
raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm.
25 But He said to them, "Where is your faith?" And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, "Who can this be?
For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!"
(308) LUKE 9:12-17
12 When the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him, "Send the multitude away, that they may go into
the surrounding towns and country, and lodge and get provisions; for we are in a deserted place here."
13 But He said to them, "You give them something to eat." And they said, "We have no more than five loaves and two fish,
unless we go and buy food for all these people."
14 For there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, "Make them sit down in groups of fifty."
15 And they did so, and made them all sit down.
16 Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the
disciples to set before the multitude.
17 So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
(309) LUKE 9:18-20
18 And it happened, as He was alone praying, that His disciples joined Him, and He asked them, saying, "Who do the crowds
say that I am?"
19 So they answered and said, "John the Baptist, but some say Elijah; and others say that one of the old prophets has risen again."
20 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered and said, "The Christ of God."
(310) LUKE 9:21-22
21 And He strictly warned and commanded them to tell this to no one,
22 saying, "The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed,
and be raised the third day."
(311) LUKE 9:44
Let these words sink down into your ears, for the Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men.
(312) LUKE 9:48
..."Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is
least among you all will be great."
(313) LUKE 9:56
For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives but to save them.
(314) LUKE 10:3
Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.
(315) LUKE 10:22
All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father
is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
(316) LUKE 10:23-24
23 Then He turned to His disciples and said privately, "Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see;
24 for I tell you that many prophets and kings have desired to see what you see, and have not seen it, and to hear what you
hear, and have not heard it."
(317) LUKE 10:38-42
38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house.
39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word.
40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister
has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me."
41 And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.
42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."
(318) LUKE 11:13
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit
to those who ask Him!
(319) LUKE 11:17
...Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and a house divided against a house falls.
(320) LUKE 11:20-22
20 But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.
21 When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace.
22 But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted,
and divides his spoils.
(321) LUKE 11:23
He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.
(322) LUKE 11:28
But He said, "More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"
(323) LUKE 11:34
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when you eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad,
your body also is full of darkness.
(324) LUKE 11:35-36
35 Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness.
36 If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining
of a lamp gives you light.
(325) LUKE 12:3
Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms
will be proclaimed on the housetops.
(326) LUKE 12:4-5
4 "And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you,
fear Him!
(327) LUKE 12:6-7
6 "Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God.
7 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
(328) LUKE 12:10
And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy
Spirit, it will not be forgiven.
(329) LUKE 12:15
...Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.
(330) LUKE 12:21
So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
(331) LUKE 12:22-24
22 Then He said to His disciples, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body,
what you will put on.
23 Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
24 Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how
much more value are you than the birds?
(332) LUKE 12:27
Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not
arrayed like one of these.
(333) LUKE 12:39-40
39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and
not allowed his house to be broken into.
40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
(334) LUKE 12:48
...For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they
will ask the more.
(335) LUKE 12:51-53
51 Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division.
52 For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three.
53 Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law
against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
(336) LUKE 13:18-19
18 Then He said, "What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it?
19 It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and put in his garden; and it grew and became a large tree, and the birds of the air
nested in its branches.
(337) LUKE 13:20-21
20 And again He said, "To what shall I liken the kingdom of God?
21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened."
(338) LUKE 14:11
For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
(339) LUKE 14:12-14
12 Then He also said to him who invited Him, "When you give a dinner or a supper, do not ask your friends, your brothers,
your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they also invite you back, and you be repaid.
13 But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind.
14 And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just."
(340) LUKE 14:26-27
26 "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his
own life also, he cannot be My disciple.
27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple."
(341) LUKE 14:33
So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.
(342) LUKE 15:4-6
4 "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go
after the one which is lost until he finds it?
5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found
my sheep which was lost!'
(343) LUKE 15:8-10
8 "Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully
until she finds it?
9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece
which I lost!'
10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
(344) LUKE 15:11-32
11 Then He said: "A certain man had two sons.
12 And the younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.' So he divided to them his livelihood.
13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions
with prodigal living.
14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want.
15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into the fields to feed swine.
16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.
17 "But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I
perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,
19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants."'
20 "And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran
and fell on his neck and kissed him.
21 And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
22 "But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.
23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry;
24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry.
25 "Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing.
26 So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant.
27 And he said to him, 'Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.'
28 "But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him.
29 So he answered and said to his father, 'Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your
commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends.
30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.'
31 "And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.
32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'"
(345) LUKE 16:10
He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.
(346) LUKE 16:13
No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and
despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
(347) LUKE 16:15
...For what is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
(348) LUKE 16:16-17
16 The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing
into it.
17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail.
(349) LUKE 16:18
Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced from her husband commits adultery.
(350) LUKE 17:3-4
3 ...If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you shall forgive him.
(351) LUKE 17:6
So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
(352) LUKE 17:21
...For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.
(353) LUKE 17:30-36
30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
31 "In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And
likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back.
32 Remember Lot's wife.
33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
34 I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left.
35 Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left.
36 Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left."
(354) LUKE 18:1 always ought to pray and not lose heart,
(355) LUKE 18:14
...for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
(356) LUKE 18:24
...How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!
(357) LUKE 18:29-30
29 So He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,
30 who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life."
(358) LUKE 18:31-33
31 Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished.
32 For He will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon.
33 They will scourge Him and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again."
(359) LUKE 19:10
for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
(360) LUKE 19:26
For I say to you, that to everyone who has will be given; and from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
(361) LUKE 19:37-38
37 Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen,
38 saying: "'Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!' Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"
(362) LUKE 20:25
And He said to them, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."
(363) LUKE 20:34-36
34 Jesus answered and said to them, "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage.
35 But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage;
36 nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
(364) LUKE 20:37-38
37 But even Moses showed in the burning bush passage that the dead are raised, when he called the Lord 'the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.'
38 For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him."
(365) LUKE 21:1-4
1 And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury,
2 and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites.
3 So He said, "Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all;
4 for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had."
(366) LUKE 21:8-19
8 And He said: "Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,'  and, 'The time has drawn near.' Therefore do not go after them.
9 But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately."
10 Then He said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
12 But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake.
13 But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony.
14 Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer;
15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.
16 You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death.
17 And you will be hated by all for My name's sake.
18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost.
19 By your patience possess your souls.
(367) LUKE 21:27-28
27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.
(368) LUKE 21:34-35
34 "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.
35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
(369) LUKE 21:36
Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."
(370) LUKE 22:27
For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves.
(371) LUKE 22:40
..."Pray that you may not enter into temptation."
(372) LUKE 22:42
..."Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."
(373) LUKE 22:69
Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the power of God.
(374) LUKE 22:70
Then they all said, "Are You then the Son of God?" So He said to them, "You rightly say that I am."
(375) LUKE 23:3
Then Pilate asked Him, saying, "Are You the King of the Jews?" He answered him and said, "It is as you say."
(376) LUKE 23:34
Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."
(377) LUKE 23:38
And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
(378) LUKE 23:44-46
44 Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
45 Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.
46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, "Father, 'into Your hands I commit My spirit.' Having said this, He breathed His last.
(379) LUKE 24:2-3
2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
(380) LUKE 24:5-6
5 ..."Why do you seek the living among the dead?
6 He is not here, but is risen!
(381) LUKE 24:36-43
36 Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, "Peace to you."
37 But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit.
38 And He said to them, "Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts?
39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have."
40 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.
41 But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, "Have you any food here?"
42 So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.
43 And He took it and ate in their presence.
(382) LUKE 24:46-49
46 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,
47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 And you are witnesses of these things.
49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you...
(383) LUKE 24:50-53
50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.
51 Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.
52 And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,
53 and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen.
(384) JOHN 1:29
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
(385) JOHN 1:32-34
32 And John bore witness, saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him.
33 I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'
34 And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God."
(386) JOHN 1:51
And He said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man."
(387) JOHN 2:19
Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
(388) JOHN 3:5-8
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ' You must be born again.'
8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
(389) JOHN 3:12
If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
(390) JOHN 3:13
No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.
(391) JOHN 3:17
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
(392) JOHN 3:18
He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
(393) JOHN 3:19
And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
(394) JOHN 3:20-21
20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.
20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does, and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom he will.
22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,
23 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
(402) JOHN 5:24
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.
56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
(415) JOHN 6:57
As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.

...Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.
(418) JOHN 6:68-69
68 But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

(425) JOHN 8:28-29
28 Then Jesus said to them, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.
29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him."
(426) JOHN 8:34-36
34 Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.
35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.
36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
(427) JOHN 8:47
He who is of God hears God's words...
(428) JOHN 8:51
Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.
(429) JOHN 8:56

31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.

33 If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing."
(434) JOHN 9:35-39

37 And Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you."
38 Then he said, "Lord, I believe!" And he worshiped Him.
39 And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind."

(438) JOHN 10:15
As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.
(439) JOHN 10:25-30
25 Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father's name, they bear witness of Me.
26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
(454) JOHN 13:20
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
(455) JOHN 13:34-35

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.

4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.

(524) ACTS 17:24-31
24 God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.
25 Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,
27 so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;
28 for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of our own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.'
29 Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man's devising.
30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."
(525) ACTS 18:9-10
9 ...Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent;
10 for I am with you...
(526) ACTS 18:28
...showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.
(527) ACTS 19:20
So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.
(528) ACTS 20:24
But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
(529) ACTS 20:28
Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
(530) ACTS 20:35
And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
(532) DEUTERONOMY 32:4
He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.
(533) PSALM 90:12
So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
(534) PSALM 106:1
Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
(535) PSALM 29:2
Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
(536) ACTS 26:17-18
17 I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you,
18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.
(537) ACTS 26:20
...that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.
(538) ACTS 26:22-23
22 Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come -
23 that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.
(539) 1 CHRONICLES 28:9
...If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.
(540) ECCLESIASTES 12:13
...Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all.
(541) ACTS 28:28
Therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear it!
Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, "I have no pleasure in them"
(543) 2 CORINTHIANS 6:14
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
(544) ROMANS 1:1-4
1 Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God
2 which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures,
3 concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh,
4 and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.
(545) ROMANS 1:18-23
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,
23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man - and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
(546) PSALM 136:1
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
And I set my heart to know wisdom and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also is grasping for the wind.
I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and indeed, all is vanity and grasping for the wind.
(549) ROMANS 2:7-9
7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;
8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness - indignation and wrath,
9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek;
(550) ROMANS 2:10
but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
(551) ROMANS 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
(552) ROMANS 3:21-22
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,
22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe.
(553) ROMANS 3:24-26
24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,
26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
(554) ROMANS 3:28
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
(555) ROMANS 3:30
since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.
(556) ROMANS 3:31
Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.
(557) PSALM 107:21
Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
(558) ROMANS 5:1-2
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
(559) ROMANS 5:3-4
3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
(560) ROMANS 5:9
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
(561) ROMANS 5:12
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned
(562) ROMANS 5:18-19
18 Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.
(563) ROMANS 5:20-21
20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,
21 so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(564) PSALM 63:3-4
3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.
4 Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
(565) 2 CORINTHIANS 4:17-18
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
(566) ROMANS 6:1-2
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?
2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
(567) ROMANS 6:3-4
3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
(568) ROMANS 6:5-6
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,
6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
(569) ROMANS 6:8-9
8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.
(570) ROMANS 6:10
For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.
(571) ROMANS 6:11
Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(572) ROMANS 6:12
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
(573) ROMANS 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
(574) ROMANS 6:20-22
20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
(575) ROMANS 7:4
Therefore my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another - to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God.
(576) ROMANS 7:6
But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.
(577) ROMANS 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
(578) ROMANS 8:3-4
3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,
4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
(579) ROMANS 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
(580) ROMANS 8:8
So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
(581) ROMANS 8:9
...Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
(582) ROMANS 8:11
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
(583) ROMANS 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
(584) ROMANS 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
(585) ROMANS 8:24-25
24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?
25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
(586) ROMANS 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
(587) ROMANS 8:27
Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
(588) ROMANS 8:29
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
(589) ROMANS 8:32
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
(590) ROMANS 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created things, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(591) ROMANS 9:20-21
20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, "Why have you made me like this?"
21 Does not the potter have power over the clay...
(592) ROMANS 9:2-5
2 that I have great sorrow and continual grief in my heart.
3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh,
4 who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises;
5 of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.
(593) ROMANS 9:31-32
31 but Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law.
(594) ROMANS 10:1
Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved.
(595) ROMANS 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
(596) ROMANS 10:14
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
(597) ROMANS 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
(598) ROMANS 11:6
And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
(599) ROMANS 11:36
For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
(600) ROMANS 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
(601) ROMANS 12:4-5
4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,
5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
(602) ROMANS 12:6-8
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;
8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
(603) ROMANS 12:9-13
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
(604) ROMANS 12:14-16
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
(605) ROMANS 12:17-18
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
(606) ROMANS 12:19-20
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord.
20 Therefore "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head."
(607) ROMANS 13:1-2
1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.
(608) ROMANS 13:3
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.
(609) ROMANS 13:7
Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
(610) ROMANS 13:8
Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
(611) ROMANS 13:10
Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
(612) ROMANS 13:11-13
1 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
(613) ROMANS 14:4
Who are you to judge another's servant?
(614) ROMANS 14:7-9
7 For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself.
8 For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's.
9 For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living.
(615) ROMANS 14:10
But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
(616) ROMANS 14:12-13
12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother's way.
(617) ROMANS 14:14
I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself...
(618) ROMANS 14:17
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
(619) ROMANS 14:19
Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.
(620) ROMANS 14:20-21
20 Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for the man who eats with offense.
21 It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak.
(621) ROMANS 14:23
...for whatever is not from faith is sin.
(622) ROMANS 15:2
Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.
(623) ROMANS 15:5-6
5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus,
6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(624) ROMANS 15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
(625) ROMANS 16:19-20
19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good, and simple concerning evil.
20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.
(626) EPHESIANS 5:18
And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,
(627) 1 CORINTHIANS 1:20-21
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
(628) 1 CORINTHIANS 1:25
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
(629) 1 CORINTHIANS 2:5
that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
(630) 1 CORINTHIANS 2:11-12
11 ...Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
(631) 1 CORINTHIANS 3:7
So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
(632) 1 CORINTHIANS 3:11
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
(633) 1 CORINTHIANS 3:18-19
18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God...
(634) 1 CORINTHIANS 3:21-23
21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours:
22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come - all are yours.
23 And you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.
(635) 1 CORINTHIANS 4:4-5
4 ...but He who judges me is the Lord.
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts.
(636) 1 CORINTHIANS 4:12-13
12 ...Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure;
13 being defamed, we entreat.
(637) 1 CORINTHIANS 4:20
For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.
(638) 1 CORINTHIANS 5:6-8
6 ...Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
(639) 1 CORINTHIANS 6:9-11
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
(640) 1 CORINTHIANS 6:13
...Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
(641) 1 CORINTHIANS 6:14
And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
(642) 1 CORINTHIANS 6:15-17
15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!
16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh."
17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
(643) 1 CORINTHIANS 6:18
Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
(644) 1 CORINTHIANS 7:5
Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
(645) 1 CORINTHIANS 7:19
Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.
(646) 1 CORINTHIANS 8:1-3
1 ...Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.
2 And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.
3 But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.
(647) 1 CORINTHIANS 8:4
...we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
(648) 1 CORINTHIANS 8:6
yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
(649) MICAH 5:2
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.
(650) 1 CORINTHIANS 9:14
Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.
(651) 1 CORINTHIANS 9:16
...yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!
(652) 1 CORINTHIANS 9:19-22
19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more;
20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;
21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;
22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak.
(653) 1 CORINTHIANS 9:22
...I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
(654) 1 CORINTHIANS 9:24-27
24 Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
26 Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.
27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
(655) 1 CORINTHIANS 10:11
Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
(656) 1 CORINTHIANS 10:14
Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.
(657) 1 CORINTHIANS 10:16-17
16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
17 For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread.
(658) 1 CORINTHIANS 10:21
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord's table and of the table of demons.
(659) 1 CORINTHIANS 10:24
Let no one seek his own, but each one the other's well-being.
(660) 1 CORINTHIANS 10:31
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
(661) 1 CORINTHIANS 11:7-9
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.
8 For man is not from woman, but woman from man.
9 Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man.
(662) 1 CORINTHIANS 11:11-12
11 Nevertheless, neither is man independent of woman, nor woman independent of man, in the Lord.
12 For as woman came from man, even so man also comes through woman, but all things are from God.
(663) 1 CORINTHIANS 11:14-15
14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
15 But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering.
(664) 1 CORINTHIANS 11:23-26
23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;
24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.
(665) 1 CORINTHIANS 11:27
Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
(666) 1 CORINTHIANS 11:33
Therefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
(667) 1 CORINTHIANS 12:3
Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
(668) 1 CORINTHIANS 12:4-6
4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.
(669) 1 CORINTHIANS 12:12-14
12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body - whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free - and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.
(670) 1 CORINTHIANS 12:24-26
24 ...But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it,
25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
(671) 1 CORINTHIANS 13:2-3
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
(672) 1 CORINTHIANS 13:10
But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
(673) 1 CORINTHIANS 13:11
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
(674) 1 CORINTHIANS 13:12
...Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
(675) 1 CORINTHIANS 14:33
For God is not the author of confusion but of peace...
(676) JOEL 2:21
Fear not, O land; Be glad and rejoice, For the Lord has done marvelous things!
(677) 1 CORINTHIANS 15:13-14
13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.
14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.
(678) 1 CORINTHIANS 15:17
And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!
(679) 1 CORINTHIANS 15:20-26
20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
23 But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.
24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.
25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
(680) 1 CORINTHIANS 15:28
Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
(681) 1 CORINTHIANS 15:42-45
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.
43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.
44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
(682) 1 CORINTHIANS 15:46-47
46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.
47 The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.
(683) 1 CORINTHIANS 15:49
And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
(684) 1 CORINTHIANS 15:50-57
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed -
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."
55 "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(685) 1 CORINTHIANS 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
(686) 1 CORINTHIANS 16:22
If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!
(687) ISAIAH 9:7
Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
(688) 2 CORINTHIANS 1:3-4
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
(689) 2 CORINTHIANS 1:5
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
(690) 2 CORINTHIANS 1:7
And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.
(691) 2 CORINTHIANS 1:9
...that we should not trust in ourselves but in God...
(692) 2 CORINTHIANS 1:20-22
20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
21 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,
22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.
(693) 2 CORINTHIANS 2:14-16
14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life...
(694) 2 CORINTHIANS 3:3
clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.
(695) 2 CORINTHIANS 3:5
...our sufficiency is from God...
(696) 2 CORINTHIANS 3:7-9
7 But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,
8 how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?
9 For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.
(697) 2 CORINTHIANS 3:11
For if what is passing away was glorious, what remains is much more glorious.
(698) 2 CORINTHIANS 3:14-17
14 ...For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.
15 But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
(699) 2 CORINTHIANS 3:18
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
(700) JOSUA 24:15
And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
(701) 2 CORINTHIANS 4:3-4
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
(702) 2 CORINTHIANS 4:6
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
(703) 2 CORINTHIANS 4:7-11
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed -
10 always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
11 For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
(704) 2 CORINTHIANS 4:14
knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus...
(705) 2 CORINTHIANS 4:16-18
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,
18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
(706) PSALM 112:1
Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.
(707) PSALM 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
(708) 2 CORINTHIANS 5:1
For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
(709) 2 CORINTHIANS 5:4
For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.
(710) 2 CORINTHIANS 5:6
So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord.
(711) 2 CORINTHIANS 5:9
Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.
(712) 2 CORINTHIANS 5:14-15
14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;
15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
(713) 2 CORINTHIANS 5:18-19
18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,
19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
(714) 2 CORINTHIANS 6:2
...Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
(715) 2 CORINTHIANS 6:4-10
4 But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses,
5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings;
6 by purity, by knowledge, by long-suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love,
7 by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8 by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;
9 as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, and yet not killed;
10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
(716) 2 CORINTHIANS 6:14-16
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God...
(717) 2 CORINTHIANS 6:16
... I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.
(718) 2 CORINTHIANS 7:1
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
(719) 2 CORINTHIANS 7:10
For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.
(720) 2 CORINTHIANS 9:6-8
6 ...He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
(721) 2 CORINTHIANS 9:10
Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,
(722) 2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-6
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,
5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
(723) 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9
And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
(724) 2 CORINTHIANS 12:14
...For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
(725) 2 CORINTHIANS 13:4
For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God.
(726) 2 CORINTHIANS 13:5
Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?
(727) 2 CORINTHIANS 13:8
For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
(728) GALATIANS 1:8
But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
(729) GALATIANS 2:18
For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
(730) GALATIANS 2:21
...for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.
(731) GALATIANS 3:7
Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.
(732) GALATIANS 3:11
But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for "the just shall live by faith."
(733) GALATIANS 3:13
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law...
(734) GALATIANS 3:22-25
22 But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
23 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed.
24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
(735) GALATIANS 3:26-29
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
(736) GALATIANS 4:4-5
4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
(737) GALATIANS 4:6-7
6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"
7 Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
(738) GALATIANS 4:18
But it is good to be zealous in a good thing always...
(739) GALATIANS 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free...
(740) GALATIANS 5:4
You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
(741) GALATIANS 5:5
For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
(742) GALATIANS 5:9
A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
(743) GALATIANS 5:16-18
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
(744) GALATIANS 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
(745) GALATIANS 5:24-26
24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
(746) GALATIANS 6:3
For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
(747) GALATIANS 6:7-8
7 ...for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
(748) GALATIANS 6:10
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
(749) PSALM 50:15
Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.
(750) EPHESIANS 1:7
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
(751) EPHESIANS 1:13-14
13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
(752) EPHESIANS 1:17-21
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
20 which He worked in Christ when He raised him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
(753) EPHESIANS 1:22-23
22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
(754) EPHESIANS 2:4-7
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,
5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
(755) EPHESIANS 2:13
But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
(756) EPHESIANS 2:14-16
14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,
15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,
16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
(757) EPHESIANS 2:18
For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
(758) EPHESIANS 3:17
that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith...
(759) EPHESIANS 3:19
to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
(760) EPHESIANS 3:20-21
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
(761) EPHESIANS 4:4-6
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
(762) EPHESIANS 4:25-26
25 Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another.
26 "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath
(763) EPHESIANS 5:2
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
(764) EPHESIANS 5:8
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
(765) EPHESIANS 5:17
...understand what the will of the Lord is.
(766) EPHESIANS 5:18
And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit
(767) EPHESIANS 5:20
giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
(768) EPHESIANS 6:1
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
(769) EPHESIANS 6:6-8
6 ...doing the will of God from the heart,
7 with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,
8 knowing, that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord...
(770) EPHESIANS 6:10 strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
(771) EPHESIANS 6:19
...that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel
(772) PHILIPPIANS 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
(773) PHILIPPIANS 1:27
Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ...
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
(776) PHILIPPIANS 2:5-9
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,
7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,
(777) PHILIPPIANS 2:14-16
14 Do all things without complaining and disputing,
15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.
(778) PHILIPPIANS 3:10
that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
(779) PHILIPPIANS 3:13-14
13 ...but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
(780) PHILIPPIANS 3:20-21
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.
Let your gentleness be known to all men.
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
(783) PHILIPPIANS 4:11
Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
(784) PHILIPPIANS 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
(785) COLOSSIANS 1:13-14
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
(786) COLOSSIANS 1:15-18
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
(787) COLOSSIANS 1:19-20
19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,
20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
(788) COLOSSIANS 1:21-22
21 ...yet now He has reconciled
22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight -
(789) COLOSSIANS 1:26-28
26 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints.
27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
28 Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
(790) COLOSSIANS 2:2-3
2 ...and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,
3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
(791) COLOSSIANS 2:6-7
6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,
7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
(792) COLOSSIANS 2:8
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.
(793) COLOSSIANS 2:11-12
11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
The end of a thing is better than its beginning; The patient is spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
(795) COLOSSIANS 3:4
When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
(796) COLOSSIANS 3:11
...but Christ is all and in all.
(797) COLOSSIANS 3:12-13
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;
13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
(798) COLOSSIANS 3:14
But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
(799) COLOSSIANS 3:15
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
(800) COLOSSIANS 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in yours hearts to the Lord.
(801) COLOSSIANS 3:17
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
(802) COLOSSIANS 3:18-19
18 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.
(803) COLOSSIANS 3:24
knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
(804) COLOSSIANS 4:2
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving
(805) COLOSSIANS 4:6
Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
(806) 1 THESSALONIANS 2:13
...because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.
(807) 1 THESSALONIANS 3:12-13
12 And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you,
13 so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
(808) 1 THESSALONIANS 4:3-6
3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality;
4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,
5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God;
6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified.
For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness.
(810) 1 THESSALONIANS 4:13-14
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
(811) 1 THESSALONIANS 4:16-17
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
(813) 1 THESSALONIANS 5:5-10
5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.
8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
(814) 1 THESSALONIANS 5:15
See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all.
(815) 1 THESSALONIANS 5:19-22
19 Do not quench the Spirit.
20 Do not despise prophecies.
21 Test all things; hold fast what is good.
22 Abstain from every form of evil.
(816) 1 THESSALONIANS 5:23
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(817) 2 THESSALONIANS 1:6-10
6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,
7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.
(818) 2 THESSALONIANS 2:3-4
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called god or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
(822) 1 TIMOTHY 1:8-11
8 But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully,
9 knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine,
11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.
(823) 1 TIMOTHY 2:1-2
1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,
2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
(824) 1 TIMOTHY 2:5-6
5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,
(825) 1 TIMOTHY 2:8
I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;
(826) 1 TIMOTHY 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
(827) 1 TIMOTHY 4:10
...because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.
(828) 1 TIMOTHY 5:22
...keep yourself pure.
(829) 1 TIMOTHY 5:23
No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your frequent infirmities.
(830) 1 TIMOTHY 6:7
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
(831) 1 TIMOTHY 6:8-9
8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
(832) 1 TIMOTHY 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
(833) 1 TIMOTHY 6:14-16
14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing,
15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.
(834) 1 TIMOTHY 6:17-19
17 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
18 Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share,
19 storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
(835) 2 TIMOTHY 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
(836) 2 TIMOTHY 1:8-10
8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,
9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
(837) 2 TIMOTHY 2:1 strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
(838) 2 TIMOTHY 2:3
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
(839) 2 TIMOTHY 2:11-13
11 This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him.
12 If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.
13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
(840) 2 TIMOTHY 2:22
Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
(841) 2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
(842) 2 TIMOTHY 3:15
...the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
(843) 2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
(844) 2 TIMOTHY 4:2
Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
(845) 2 TIMOTHY 4:5
But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
(846) 2 TIMOTHY 4:18
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom.
(847) TITUS 1:2
in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,
(848) TITUS 1:15-16
15 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
16 They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
(849) TITUS 2:11-14
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,
13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
14 who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
(850) TITUS 3:1-2
1 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work,
2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.
(851) TITUS 3:4-7
4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,
5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
(852) HEBREWS 1:1-4
1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,
2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
(853) HEBREWS 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.
(854) HEBREWS 2:14-15
14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
(855) HEBREWS 2:17
Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
(856) HEBREWS 3:3-6
3 For this One has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as He who built the house has more honor than the house.
4 For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.
5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward,
6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
(857) HEBREWS 3:13-14
13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,
(858) HEBREWS 4:12-13
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
(859) HEBREWS 4:14
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
(860) HEBREWS 4:15
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
(861) HEBREWS 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
(862) HEBREWS 5:8-9
8 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.
9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,
(863) HEBREWS 5:13-14
13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
(864) HEBREWS 6:11-12
11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,
12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
(865) HEBREWS 7:19
for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
(866) HEBREWS 7:22
by so much more Jesus has become a surety of a better covenant.
(867) HEBREWS 7:24-25
24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood.
25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
(866) HEBREWS 7:26-28
26 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;
27 who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people's, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.
28 For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.
(867) HEBREWS 8:7
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
(868) HEBREWS 8:8
Because finding fault with them, He says: "Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah -
(869) HEBREWS 8:10
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
(870) HEBREWS 8:12
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
(871) HEBREWS 9:8
the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.
(872) HEBREWS 9:11-15
11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.
12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,
14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse our conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
(873) HEBREWS 9:23-28
23 Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;
25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another -
26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
(874) HEBREWS 10:10
By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
(875) HEBREWS 10:12-18
12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God,
13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.
14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
15 But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,
16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,"
17 then He adds, "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."
18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.
(876) HEBREWS 10:19-25
19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
21 and having a High Priest over the he house of God,
22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,
25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
(877) HEBREWS 10:28-29
28 Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
(878) HEBREWS 10:39
But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
(879) HEBREWS 11:3
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
(880) HEBREWS 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
(881) HEBREWS 11:8
By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And He went out, not knowing where he was going.
(882) HEBREWS 11:23-29
23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's command.
24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter,
25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,
26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.
27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.
28 By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the first born should touch them.
29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.
(883) HEBREWS 11:30-31
30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days.
31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.
(884) HEBREWS 11:32-34
32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets:
33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
(885) HEBREWS 12:1
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
(886) HEBREWS 12:3
For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
(887) HEBREWS 12:5-6
5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: "My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
6 For who the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives."
(888) HEBREWS 12:9-11
9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.
11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
(889) HEBREWS 12:14
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
(890) HEBREWS 12:22-24
22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
23 to the general assembly and church of the first born who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
(891) HEBREWS 12:28-29
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
29 For our God is a consuming fire.
(892) HEBREWS 13:3
Remember the prisoners as if chained with them - those who are mistreated - since you yourselves are in the body also.
(893) HEBREWS 13:4
Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
(894) HEBREWS 13:6
So we may boldly say: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"
(895) HEBREWS 13:12
Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
(896) HEBREWS 13:15-16
15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
16 But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
(897) JAMES 1:5-6
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
(898) JAMES 1:12
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
(899) JAMES 1:14-15
14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
(900) JAMES 1:16-17
16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
(901) JAMES 1:21
Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
(902) JAMES 1:22-25
22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;
24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.
25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
(903) JAMES 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. Thank you for dying for me on the Cross
and paying the price for every sin I have ever committed. I turn from that
sin now and ask you to come into my life as my Savior, Lord, and friend.
Thank you for hearing this prayer. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
"Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sin. I repent of it and turn to
you by faith right now. I thank you for dying on the cross for me and paying the price
for all of my sins. I ask you to come into my life right now and be my Lord, my Savior,
and my friend. Fill me with your holy spirit. Help me to be your disciple from this moment
forward. Thank you, Lord. Amen."

Our Father,
Who Art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name,
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.

One night I had a dream.
I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the LORD...
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life... For each scene, I noticed two
sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to me, and the other to the LORD...
When the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only one
set of footprints.
I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life.
This really bothered me and I questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only
one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My precious child, I love you and would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it
was then that I carried you."
