President Ronald Reagan is one of my greatest heroes and role models.

REPUBLICAN

If you're like me, you have tremendous admiration for President Reagan... as a man and a statesman.
But the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation is not about hero worship. Its mission is much more
important than that. When Ronald Reagan left the presidency in 1989, many of today's college students
hadn't even been born yet. They have no memory of the man or his times. They have none of the personal
associations you and I can draw on to remember what he meant to us as Americans, and to people the
world over.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation is furthering President Reagan's ideals and continuing his
lifelong cause. Now, more than ever, we need to preserve and promote the legacy of one of our nation's
most visionary leaders. The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation is the only organization President
Reagan formed after leaving the White House, and is uniquely responsible for carrying on his work. As
we take his inspired vision into the future, it is our mission to promote President Reagan's legacy by
convening, educating and encouraging people around the world in his core principles of freedom,
economic opportunity, global democracy and national pride. It is up to us now. Thank you for
joining in the pursuit of these goals and with your help, we will promote President Reagan's vision
around the world.
